We're heading into October, I hope you are getting your Halloween costumes and fall sewing going! And it's not to early to start those Christmas gifts!
Just a short note to share some class and classroom information with you, along with some new fabric!

Reminder: We are closed on Sundays and Mondays; Open Tuesday-Friday 10:00 to 5:00; Saturday 10:00 to 2:30.
Northcott America 250 Challenge is Here!
As you know, the US celebrates 250 years next year! We have the Northcott 250 fabric line IN STOCK now and it's sure to sell out fast! The fabric line includes 2 panels, one is a bag panel made from a sort of canvas like fabric--great for gathering all that candy during 4th of July parades! We also have two new patterns in stock that use the fabric.
The America 250 program encourages community members to work together to complete a square for quilts to be donated to charities of the groups choosing. We are getting pins and other prizes from Northcott.
Other fabric companies are releasing a lot of patriotic fabric, too. It's great for many things, including Quilts of Valor quilts!
New Fabric!
We still have the new Tilda Merry Little Christmas line which has been hugely popular! Get it before it's gone!
We also have Lori Holt's new Gentler Times line, Deb Strain's Winter Friends and I Love Fall Most of All lines. We recently got in a new Halloween line from artist Mary Engelbreit.
Kimberbell Enchanted Winter is in! We have the pattern and embellishment at the store, along with an adorable matching penguin needle minder. The fabric kit is on the way and will be here soon.
Classroom Update!!
It's getting close! Drywall is finished, most of the painting is done! Still some electrical work to be done. We're getting excited to have it finished so we can offer classes in store again! We'll announce it big time when it's complete!

Husqvarna Sit and Sew event - we will host a small group at the store for Viking's first sit and sew.

Stack and Whack class - Fabric selection will occur the first day of class. Call the shop for details!
October 18
Kimberbell 1-day Hello Pumpkin Event - If you haven't yet signed up for this event, please call the shop right away so we can get your event kit ordered/shipped before the 18th. The clock is ticking! (Virtual)
November 15-16
Kimberbell 2-day Comfort and Joy Event - Comfort and Joy is a new 2-day machine embroidery event, with amazing and unique new projects! You'll stitch a very detailed winter hoop design, a unique wreath scarf on a new Kimberbell Blank (it's soft and drapey!), two tea towels on Kimberbell's new gingham-trimmed towels, and you'll make a chenille pillow on a pre-quilted pillow sham (and the pillow form is also included!). We're limited on in-store seating, but can accommodate 2-3 in store and as always, we'll have a virtual option for our friends who are not local or not able to travel. The wreath is not included, but Hobby Lobby has their Christmas out already and you can get a wreath there! Your event kit contains everything you need to create the projects except for stabilizer, thread and wreath. Let us know if you need us to pull thread or stabilizer for you. Call the store to sign up and arrange for shipping of your kit. We have samples in the store, so stop in and see them! (Estimated cost: $179)
