New in the Shop NOW
Floribunda by Create Joy Project (Moda) - This colorful happy line is so pretty, with purples, greens, blues, pinks and more. It coordinates with previous lines by Create Joy Project, so if you're looking for fabric to complement others, check it out!
Kimberbell Mug Rugs Volume 6 - There are 12 more mug rugs in this CD and there is an optional embellishment pack to make your life easier! There's also a really pretty Christmas embroidery felt pack that you'll want for your holiday embroidery projects.
Market Finds
CutterPillar Glow - We were impressed with the CutterPillar light table products at Market, so we opened an account and ordered a couple to try out. Come see them when they arrive!
Full Moon Forest II (April 2025) - This is Tula Pink's 50th fabric collection, and it's in honor of her first fabric collection released in 2006. She has redrawn and enhanced her first collection, and it's amazing to see how she has evolved over the last 19 years. We ordered the whole collection plus the coordinating True Color fabrics (ditzy flowers, space sprinkle & tiny stripe in grid form). So come in and help us clear off our shelves to make room for the new collection! Fun fact she shared at Market: She holds 2,800 copyrights for her designs! That is pretty awesome! Her fabrics will also now come on a hot pink cardboard bolt, so you can tell from a distance that it is Tula Pink fabrics.
There are also some new rulers and project bags that hold cutting mats and rulers and a new zipper pouch. They all have 50th on their zipper pulls. We can get these if you have an interest, just let Jan or Monica know.
In Tula Pink style, there will be coordinating Aurifil thread collection, Renaisance Ribbons to match and edge to edge digital quilting files available from OESD.
Kimberbell
We are one of 13 shops that will be piloting Kimberbell's new Punch Needle kits! These kits will include everything you need in a zipper pouch to complete the needle punch product: Stretched canvas with design printed on it, yarn, embellishments, fabric and needle! The designs are really cute, and we will have them in November. They are Christmas/holiday themed. Most are 10x10 or smaller. Some include a hoop frame. They coordinate with other Kimberbell projects so you can have a whole gallery of Kimberbell projects! The rest of their line will launch in January. We are excited to have been invited to be in their small pilot group!
Hoppin' Down the Bunny Trail (January 2025) - This is a new bench pillow featuring cute bunnies and spring designs. There's a optional fabric kit and embellishment kit.
Star Spangled Beauty Ladder Quilt (April 2025) - This is the next in their series of ladder quilts, and this one is 100% patriotic! There will be an optional fabric kit and embellishment kit.
Note that we have opted not to participate in the 2025 Digital Dealer Exclusive (DDE).
Shannon Cuddle Kits
We opened an account with Shannon Cuddle fabrics!! They have some adorable stuffed animal kits - a puppy dog and an elephant - in 3 colorways and we ordered them. They will have the patterns and all materials needed to make the critter. We also ordered some 1 and 2 yard precuts to make soft fuzzy bull. And we picked two baby quilt kits to try out - one for girls and one for boys. Due to space limitations, we opted not to bring in bolts of Cuddle at this time. We'll focus on kits and precuts for now.
Fright This Way Batik by Sandy Gervais (May 2025)- Sandy has been designing fabrics for a very, very long time and this is her FIRST batik line! It features spooky Halloween motifs in beautiful color ways. We ordered the whole line, along with 3 patterns to showcase the fabric.
Winter Friends (June 2025) - Deb Strain is a prolific designer for Moda, and she has a new wintery line coming out next June - Just in time for her visit to Erin Matthew Sewing in July!! She is also introducing some new hand embroidery kits.
Wrapped in Love Pillow Kits from The Whole Country Caboodle - This adorable mother and daughter duo from Iowa has been designing for many years, and we're excited to bring their designs into our shop! We ordered all 12 of their pillow wraps. You change the cover of the pillow each month. The patterns come with pre-cut and pre-fused appliques. You can put them on a towel or on fabric, and tie them on to the pillow.
Poppie Cotton - There was a lot of buzz at Market about Poppie Cotton fabrics! We opened an account and ordered some of their Frost & Flurry winter line. We'll be interested in your feedback on what other lines to bring in.
Superbloom (April 2025) - The Moda booth was fantastic as always, and we got to meet many of their designers. It is very difficult to not buy EVERYthing, but we have to consider our space constraints and dollars. We all loved Robin Pickens' Superbloom line, so we ordered the dark colorway of this beautiful line. Robin also has a line of coordinating cross stitch kits and we ordered them!
Emmit & Ivy - Sweetwater always has cute holiday fabrics, and we ordered this cute little kit for winter next year.
New Machine Embroidery
Riley Blake Designs is now offering some Machine Embroidery USBs! If you like Lori Holt, there are two new machine embroidery projects. We also bought some dolls done in the hoop!
New Patterns
ByAnnie - Two new ByAnnie patterns: On the Go 2.0 and Side Hustle. Who doesn't love a good crossbody bag!!
Funky Friends - We've added two more critters to our Funky Friends zoo. There's a new puppy dog and a gorilla--both adorable.
Poorhouse Quilts - Stars & Bars Tote, Happy Hollows, Borders & Frame patterns.
