Our new Point of Sale (POS) system is now live! Along with the new POS comes a NEW website and a new Newsletter format! We are excited about the extra features our new system provides, along with the opportunity to serve you better! Thank you for your patience as we learn the new system and as we grow. Most of our products are now uploaded and live on the website so you can shop for fabric, patterns and notions online in your pajamas!
We'll be adding more Classes to our website, so check in frequently. We also post them on our Erin Matthew Sewing Facebook page and the Sewing with Erin Matthew Facebook group.
What's New?
Machines--We are a Viking/Husqvarna dealer and we have many great sewing and embroidery machines in stock, from entry level to top of the line. As we close out 2023, we have some of the best pricing of the year. Financing is available! Treat yourself to a new machine for Christmas (or ask Santa to bring you one). Stop in for a machine demo and try them out.
ByAnnie Educational Series--ByAnnie bags are fun to make but possibly a bit intimidating to some folks. Starting December 9, Tracie Harmon will host an instructional series where you will learn how to sew the magic bags in monthly classes. Each class will focus on different ByAnnie bags and build on skills learned in the previous classes. Due to our current limited classroom space, class size is limited but these demos are not! Sign up on the website!
Kimberbell 2024 Digital Deal Exclusive Program--Sign up now for the 2024 DDE! The cost of the program is $72 for the whole year. You'll get a digital download in your Kimberbell.com account around the first of the month. You can also opt to get kits from us--we ship if you live a distance away! The price of the kits will vary based on the kit contents. Call the shop if you want to be added to this program.
Queen of Diamonds Block of the Month--We are making good progress on our Queen of Diamonds Block of the Month! The 3rd quarter fabric release just arrived. We still have 2 kits available if anyone wants to join this BOM!

ByAnnie primer with a demo of the Sew Simple Wallet. You can make 3 sweet wallets using one fat quarter of fabric!

Sew Quick Class--You can get this one done before Christmas! This is the second offering of a fun class! Create a fast 48x 58 quilt top using three 1 yard cuts (a print, a light, a dark). Class is free when you obtain your fabric from Erin Matthew Sewing. Please pick out your fabric prior to class and come ready to cut. Bring your sewing machine, sewing notions and a smile. Bring a lunch or we can order out.

Strip Club - This club meets at Erin Matthew Sewing. Bring your fabric strips, machine and sewing supplies and have fun!

ByAnnie Call Me Bag--Bring your sewing machine, sewing supplies. Items needed for class include: 2 fat quarters, main and coordinating fabric, soft and stable, mesh, clear vinyl, fold over elastic, handbag zipper and thread to match fabric. Left over mesh, vinyl, elastic can be used in future ByAnnie classes! Contact Erin Matthew Sewing to sign up! $25

We will be hosting the newest Kimberbell machine embroidery event--the Easter Tier Tray Event! This two-day event can be in-person at the Tawas Bay Beach Resort or virtually for our long distance customers! It's super cute and includes many small spring/Easter projects, along with the beautiful 3-tier tray to display your finished projects on. Call the shop to sign up!

Learn Free Motion Quilting! This popular class fills up quickly! Instructor Donna Leinberger will help you learn to free motion quilt in 4 hours. The January class is sold out, so plan ahead for February. We will be adding more classes. $50
Holiday Closings
We will be closed for the Christmas holiday December 24-27 and the New Year Holiday December 30 through January 1.
