If you are wanting to learn basic quilting skills, this 6 week class is for you! The 6 projects will build your confidence. Techniques learned are standard techniques in building future skills. We will use Sarah's Sparkle society Skill Building Program. Classes will be held on Saturdays to accommodate those working during the week. Bring a sack lunch. Make-up class dates will be offered. First class will include getting your instruction book and picking out fabrics. Limited number of sewing machines available for class time rental if you don't have one.

Your home is your Sanctuary - especially in the cold months of winter! Tilda club in January features the Beautiful House Sanctuary pillows. You get to choose either the warm or cool colorway. Your kit will be ready for you when you come to club! These stylised little patchwork house blocks are so easy to make that even beginners will enjoy the sewing. What do I bring to class?
Bring your sewing machine in good working order, basic sewing supplies (rotary cutter, scissors, thread, snips). Required class materials will be emailed to you in advance of the class. Class materials including software designs and thread are not included in the class cost unless specifically indicated. Pre-registration is required for all classes to reserve an available seat. Arriving 15 minutes before class starts will provide time to get set up and settled. Unless your class is “learn your machine”, you will need to understand how to work your machine so the class can stay on track. Important: Your embroidery machine MUST accept USB sticks.

Sometimes you've just got to get away! Grab a friend and come sew! Don’t worry about the housework, dishes, laundry, this is a safe space for fabric fun! Available during open store hours EXCEPT during a scheduled class or event.
Cancellation Policy and Wait List
If there is a different class time that is better for you, we will be happy to put you in a different class! A full class fee refund is available until 48 hours before the class. If you cancel later than that, the class refund is no longer available unless there is a person on the wait list who can take your place.
